Surfer's Healing

Today was the day that Bradley along with 2 of his friend's got the chance to go surfing down in San Diego. Surfer's Healing is a non-profit surf camp for kid's with Autism. It is such an amazing event to watch and I can't wait to sign Bradley up again next year.

Pismo Beach

Our trip to Pismo wasn't as good as it could have been due to the fact that Bradley wasn't feeling well. His two front teeth are coming in and they seem to really be bothering him. Anyway's, Bradley spent alot of time screaming and crying and didn't want to do much of anything. We made the best out of our trip and their were definately some highlights and good times. Bradley seemed to really enjoy the sandrail trip in the dunes. As for Britney, she had a great time as usual.

My Dad Turns 55

WOW!!! 55, my dad is officially a senior citizen today. We all celebrated my dad's birthday at our favorite little place to eat "La Cocina". We had such a great time and Bradley was absolutely perfect. I was kind of nervous at first because the last time we tried to eat at a restaurant with Bradley it was a complete nightmere. It was so nice to spend a couple of hours eating out with the family and celebrating a special day.

Our party group

Bradley, Me, My Mom Linda, Britney, Kendell, and My Sister Chrissy

My dad had specifically told my mom no singing because he didn't want whip cream all up inside his nose. Well guess what? That's just to bad. We went against his will and ordered up the singing, samboro hat, and of course lots of whip cream. The kids thought it was so much fun to watch and Bradley was giggling and laughing too.

It looks like he is giving my mom the stink eye.

Funny Story

Because of my special situation with my kid's, I'm fornate to have found a hairdresser who will come to my house. So, yesterday I was getting my hair done and after I had gotten out of the shower Britney had managed to get my hairdresser to play "Little Pet Shop" with her. They continued to play a little bit longer and somehow they were talking about mom's. Britney kept insisting that my hair dresser was a mom. So, finally after going back and forth a few times the hair dresser says to Britney "What make's you think I'm a mom?"

Britney think's about it for a minute and say's "Because you have big BOOB'S"

First Day of Kindergarten

Britney right before I took her to her first day of kindergarten.

I can't believe it's August 13th already. The summer break went by quickly and now it's time to get back into our school routine. Today was Britney's first day of kindergarten. The morning went pretty smooth for all of us and Britney was excited to start school.

Cleaning

Who like's a messy house? I know I sure don't, but sometimes you have no choice when you have young kids. So, I started making Bradley pick up his own toys, take the wet clothes out of the washing machine and put them in the dryer, sweep the kitchen floor, wipe down the table, and now I'm teaching him to vaccum. I think it's time my kids start helping out with household chores. Maybe they won't be so messy if they have to help clean up.

Sunday Morning Bowling Fun

So, on Sunday morning we decided to take the kids bowling. It was so much fun and we all had a great time. Bradley did great and liked just being there. I think this is something our family is going to do more often.

Here we all are getting ready to bowl.

Bradley, Kendell, and Britney waiting very patiently for their turn to bowl.

Jason was helping Bradley throw the ball down the bowling lane.

Bradley really liked watching the ball go down the lane and knocking over the pins.

Kendell throws the ball like shes playing catch with someone.

Now it's Britney's turn. She likes to roll the ball.

Bradley was even getting his own ball when it was his turn.

Britney getting ready to roll the ball again.

The girls had a fun time bowling. Can't wait to do it again!!!

Magic Mountain

What a great day we had with our thrill seeking boys. This was a day for me to spend time with Bradley. Britney spent the day with Kendell and her grandma. So off to Magic Mountain we went with one of Bradley's good friends Noah and his mom Julie.

Me and Bradley on the Roaring Rapids ride. You can't even tell that we were on a wet ride not a drop of water landed on either me or Bradley.

As for Julie and Noah they got soaked on this ride.

This is a picture of a wave going over Julie's head as she is trying to take a picture of Bradley and I.

Group picture of all of us on the Jet Stream.

Me and Bradley posing for a picture while being stuck on the Jet Stream as we were going up hill. We were stuck up there for 2 to 5 minutes. The boy's didn't seem to mind at all.

The Colossus was definately thrilling for Bradley.

The boy's taking a moment to rest and have a drink.

Noah and Julie on the swings. This was one of Bradley's favorite ride's besides Ninja.

We made it through the day, and what a Fabulous day it was.
